Snowbank Brewing adds coffee, espresso bar to taproom

Snowbank Brewing added a coffee and espresso bar called The Morning Grind to its taproom. The Morning Grind opened in early November but closed about five months later.

A Fort Collins brewery is branching out into new, nonalcoholic territory.

Snowbank Brewing, 225 N. Lemay Ave., will open The Morning Grind — a coffee and espresso bar — out of its taproom this week.

The new coffee bar is a response to the "gentle pullback" in the craft beer market and the rising tide of interest in nonalcoholic and healthier drinks, according to a news release from Snowbank Brewing.

The Morning Grind will be a collaboration between Snowbank Brewing and local coffee roaster Wander Coffee. It will offer a range of coffee drinks, cold brew coffee on tap, and food options like pastries from The Bread Chic and breakfast burritos. Snowbank also looks forward to brewing some beer and coffee crossover collaborations.

The Morning Grind is set to softly open this week, with an exact date to be announced on its Instagram page (@themorninggrind.coffee). It will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
