It's no secret that Martha and Snoop Dogg are longtime business partners—the duo has worked together on everything from a collection of BIC lighters to their own reality television show. But the real question on many fans' minds is this: Are Martha and Snoop actually friends? During the first episode of our founder's new podcast we finally got the answer—they're best friends.

Snoop was Martha's first guest on "The Martha Podcast," which launched today in partnership with iHeartRadio and is currently available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other streaming platforms. During the 40-minute segment, Martha and Snoop cover a variety of topics about their business relationship and the rapper's life—but Martha says that what people really want to know is if the two are friends. "I always say yes, what do you say?" Martha says.

Snoop had quite the response: "I always say we're best friends. It's a big difference."

In fact, the pair are such good friends that Martha has even met Snoop's mother, Beverly, who came to visit them on the set of their show Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party. "She had the time of her life when she came on the show. My mom was always a star and to put her on television gave her that moment that she always wanted," Snoop says of his late mom, who passed away in October 2021.

The rapper noted that his mom was a huge Martha fan. "She loved you, she loved everything that you stood for," Snoop told our founder. Seeing her son on television with someone as prestigious as Martha, added Snoop, meant a lot to her.

Beyond being asked if the two are friends in real life, Martha says people also often ask her about Snoop's style. She goes on to say that Snoop was the best dressed—by far—during his performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, where he performed alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige.

The rapper and songwriter has even inspired Martha's own style, she says, noting that she wears specific shoes—which she calls her "tallest shoes"—when she's around Snoop, who is 6'4". Her reasoning, however, goes beyond height: "Snoop has this way of kind of enveloping you when you stand next to him. He's so majestic," she says, adding that everybody looks up at him and up to him.
