Snoop Dogg Will Release A New Cereal Called Snoop Loopz

Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Honey Nut Cheerios better watch their backs. Rappers Snoop Dogg and Percy "Master P" Miller are releasing a new cereal, and according to Master P, it promises to be "the best tasting cereal in the game." The new cereal, which is fittingly called Snoop Loopz, was first revealed by Master P in an Instagram post last week.

A video of the Snoop Loopz cereal box gives us clues about what exactly we can expect from the entrepreneurs' latest offering. According to the front of the box, the "delicious multigrain cereal" is gluten free and may include marshmallows. The top of the colorful box states that it "contains vitamin D, fiber and whole grain."

Keeping things kid-friendly—and in classic cereal-box fashion—there are puzzles on the back of the box for breakfast sleuths to solve. A release date for Snoop Loopz has yet to be announced.

The rappers' family-owned food company Broadus Foods previously released the Mama Snoop line of breakfast staples, including cereal, oatmeal, grits, pancake mix, and syrup.

Breakfast isn't the only meal Snoop wants to dominate. A report from Billboard.com earlier this year revealed that attorneys for the Long Beach rapper applied for federal trademark registration on the term “Snoop Doggs” to be used to sell hot dogs and sausage.
