Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have been captivating audiences ever since the two first appeared together on the title track to Dre’s Deep Cover soundtrack back in 1992. The duo performed together effortlessly while creating some of hip-hop’s most iconic music, ultimately blessing the world with timeless bangers like "Nothing But a “G” Thang," "Still D.R.E." and "Gin & Juice."

Now 30 years since the official release of the latter certified gold record, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are apparently up to their usual antics. And as the song goes, “Get your glass, 'cus it’s a blast from the past,” the two rap legends just announced their very own line of canned Gin & Juice by way of a very Tarantino-esque advertisement.

The announcement, which was shared to the By Dre and Snoop Instagram account, is only one of two posts made so far in reference to the very hush-hush collaboration. The By Dre and Snoop Gin & Juice official website features a link to click where you can enter your name and email address in order to receive future updates regarding the iconic hip hop cocktail. Upon submitting your personal info, a follow up page is revealed with the message, “Welcome to the Inner Circle.”

What we know so far is that the gin-based cocktails will be packaged in 12-ounce cans, with each can containing 5.9-percent ABV. The packaging is designed by Ini Archibong, who is an industrial designer, creative director, artist and musician from Pasadena, CA. As depicted on the By Dre and Snoop Instagram, there will be a variety of flavors available for purchase, including Citrus, Melon and Passionfruit. Apricot, however, is the most visible flavor for the initial advertisement.

“Together, we always try to create magic, we're having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us,” Dr. Dre stated in a press release. “There’s passion behind it, and friendship and love and a culture.”

“Look where we’re at in our careers,” Snoop Dogg adds onto Dre's sentiment. “Look at our age and look at what we've done, and we still love each other, so why not do something together?”

For now, we’ll have to wait and see what else the brand has in store. Product is expected to roll out throughout the U.S. now through early spring, with distribution being handled by Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, the largest beverage distributor in the country. But if the trailer featuring Snoop and Dre playing buddy-criminals reminiscent of Pulp Fiction and Goodfellas is any indication of what’s to come, then it’s time to buckle up and get ready for that real “Beats by The Pound flavor.”
