Skechers might be known for comfy shoes but a new Snoop Dogg footwear collection could make the SoCal footwear maker synonymous with “style and swag.”

Launched Tuesday, the Skechers x Snoop Dogg collection remixes some of the brand’s key footwear models with the entertainer’s signature style. The “Young, Wild & Free” singer selected silhouettes from the Skechers showroom before “Snoopifying” them to “mirror his ever-evolving style,” the Manhattan Beach, Calif. company said.

“The excellent team at Skechers took my ideas and my flavor and we created this collection for all walks of life,” the LA3C festival headliner added. “Step yo shoe game up with my style and swag in every pair—with Skechers you’ll be comfortable wherever you go.”

Skechers was already cooking up the co-branded collection with the star, born Calvin Broadus, Jr., “prior to his incredible award-winning Skechers x Snoop Dogg Super Bowl commercial earlier this year,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers.

The Skechers x Snoop Dogg collaboration launches with footwear styles for all walks of life, the company said.

“Snoop combined his eye for style and laid-back sensibility with the signature comfort of Skechers, resulting in an authentic collaboration and partnership,” he continued.

The OG and Remix Capsule feature four unisex styles. The Skechers Stamina – Snoop ’91 is a nostalgic trail jogger (the original debuted in 2004—when the rapper’s “Rhythm and Gangsta: The Masterpiece” record was released) with a suede overlay upper available in three colorways handpicked by the artist intended to reflect that “special era” of his life.

The Skechers Hands Free Slip-Ins – Snoop One DoubleG is a court-style sneaker outfitted in a paisley print and a leather upper. The Skechers Slip-Ins – Snoop One OG is a leather bungee shoe featuring the company’s signature Heel Pillow with a smoke graphic on the heel as well as a signature “Snoop S” logo. The Snoop Dogg Go Run Swirl Tech Dizziefeatures a geometric gradient of blues or oranges featuring a Swirl Tech midsole with Hyper Burst technology on a Skechers Max Cushioning platform.

Priced at $100-$125, the OG and Remix Capsule is available now at skechers.com and U.S. Skechers stores, with specialty retailers and worldwide Skechers stores to follow. The company will release two more capsules in the weeks ahead, including one designed for collectors and featuring Snoop Dogg’s Dr. Bombay NFT character. The collaborators also plan additional releases throughout their multi-year partnership.

Snoop Dogg wants “everyone” to wear his new co-branded shoes.

“Wear them with a suit to a wedding or on the court with shorts,” the music mogul said. “You’ll look fly either way because these shoes are for everyone.”

While the West Coast rapper joins the ranks of his pal Martha Stewart as a Skechers brand ambassador, he has long been a fixture in fashion. In February, the philanthropist created a limited-edition collection with Forever 21 and his fellow Mount Westmore music makers, which featured six gender-neutral pieces paying homage to both the brand and the group’s California roots. In November, the 1995 Grammy Award winner got into a hot market with the launch of the Snoop Doggie Doggs pet accessory line. He was the face of G-Star Raw denim in 2021 and collaborated with Adidas on a football collection in 2015, when he was also named the director of football development.
