‘SNL’ Parodied the Royal Wedding Reception & Obviously It's Hilarious

If you’re wondering what it would be like to attend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding reception, feast your eyes on the next best thing.

Saturday Night Live debuted a brand-new skit featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the couple’s after-party at Frogmore House, and we can only hope it’s semi-accurate.

The clip opens on Prince Harry (Mikey Day) welcoming viewers to his wedding reception. After introducing a few of the guests, the camera cuts to Markle’s great-uncle (Kenan Thompson) casually chatting it up with the queen (Kate McKinnon), who looks almost as uncomfortable as Prince Charles (Beck Bennett). Almost.

Sure, the Leslie Jones (played by herself, natch) tidbit and Elton John (Aidy Bryant) cameo deserve honorable mentions, but we can’t deny that Prince Harry’s commentary about Prince William’s (Alex Moffat) hair (or lack thereof) takes the cake.

“So sorry to hear that your hair could not make it,” Harry says.

The good news is Kate Middleton seems to be taking full advantage of her post-pregnancy alcohol tolerance. Can you really blame her?
