Snickers Is Launching a New Treat to Help With Your New Year's Resolutions

There's a new, healthier Snickers bar coming to town in 2023.

Snickers is breaking into the nutrition game with a new candy bar–with a twist.

Mars Wrigley, the company behind the beloved candy bar, announced in a press release that a Snickers Hi Protein bar will be coming out in the new year.

According to the release, the new bars "feature the same satisfying chocolate, caramel and peanut ingredients iconic to SNICKERS but now packed with twenty (20) grams of protein offering the nutritional profile consumers expect, with the taste they crave."

The bars are aimed at both the highly athletic and those who are "emerging as exercise-curious," as Mars Wrigley said.

Michelle Deignan, Senior Brand Director, Mars Wrigley, said: "Mars is consumer obsessed, and after talking with many consumers through the product development process, it was clear that the performance nutrition category was missing one key ingredient - delicious tasting products."

She continued, "With the demand for delicious tasting protein bars increasing, SNICKERS Hi Protein bars are guaranteed to be a hit whether you work out avidly, casually or are looking for a delicious snack with more protein."

While the Snickers Hi Protein bars are not available quite yet, they will be for sale at select retailers in January 2023, helping you kick off your New Year's resolutions right. The bars will be available nationwide later next year.

Earlier in 2022, Mars also announced the release of the new Snickers-flavored seasoning in partnership with B&G Foods, designed to be put on things like ice cream, waffles, fruit, popcorn, and more.

The seasoning is said to "combine the classic chocolate bar's delicious blend of chocolate, peanut, and caramel flavors to recreate the mouth-watering taste of an actual Snickers bar."

Thanks to Mars, you can bring the taste of Snickers into every meal!
