The Duttons are back! A new episode of 1923 is on the horizon and fans can not wait! In the previous episode of 1923, the Duttons dealt with the aftermath of the attack by Banner Creighton (Jerome Flynn) and his gang. While Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) and Alexandra (Julie Schlaepfer) enjoyed a honeymoon in Zanzibar, Cara (Helen Mirren) was patching up Jacob (Harrison Ford) and praying for his recovery and burying her nephew, John Dutton, Sr. (James Badge Dale).

With all of male Duttons injured or otherwise occupied, Cara takes the reins of the ranch and shows Daniel Whitfield (Timothy Dalton) that the women of the ranch shouldn't be taken lightly.

Teonna (Aminah Nieves) takes matters into her own hands and escapes the abusive Sister Mary (Jennifer Ehle) by killing her. But where will she go from here? Father Renaud (Sebastian Roche) is sure to hunt her down after he discovers Sister Mary's body.

In this week's episode of 1923, "Ghost of Zabrina," Spencer and Alexandra begin their long journey back to Montana which isn't without peril. Will they be able to make it back to the ranch safely? Peter Stormare guest stars.

Later, Banner and Whitfield plot their next move to control the valley while Teonna goes to great lengths to secure her freedom and safety.
