How To Snag a Secret Deal Ahead of Samsung's February Galaxy Unpacked Event

We're expecting a trio of smartphones at Samsung's first mobile event of 2023.

Just like Apple and Google, Samsung drops new mobile tech like smartphones at its own events. Now like clockwork, Samsung is sending out invites for the next Galaxy Unpacked event. It’ll take place on February 1 at 10 a.m. EST and will be live-streamed.

While they probably won’t be dropping folding smartphones, like the effortlessly chic Galaxy Z Flip 4, it should be a trio of devices. Or at least, that’s what the teaser invite is getting us thinking. It features, as you can see above, three spotlights which could mean three smartphones or a three-camera system.

Here at Parade.com, we're all about sharing products we love with our audience. When you make a purchase on an item seen on this page, we may earn a commission, however, all picks are independently chosen unless otherwise mentioned.

Historically, Samsung uses the Spring mobile event to unveil new Galaxy S smartphones. These smartphones typically come in three sizes with vibrant screens, modern designs in fun shades and excellent cameras.

In 2022, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra all debuted alongside a new pair of Galaxy Buds. For 2023, we’re expecting the S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra with improved cameras and better performance all-around.

As far as new earbuds, Samsung’s line is pretty packed with the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro being the newest on the block. A fresh pair could come, but it’s looking pretty unlikely.

In typical fashion as well Samsung is opening up pre-reserves. Essentially, you fill out your name and email in-line as interested in whatever is being announced on Feb. 1. It’s fully non-committal, meaning you don’t have to make a purchase, and it unlocks an exclusive deal.

If you end up pre-ordering one device, you’ll get a $50 Samsung Credit. While pre-ordering two devices will get you a $100 Samsung Credit. These can be put towards another device in Samsung’s line—say a Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, or even a Neo QLED TV—or for an accessory to complement the ‘next big thing’. You’ll also be able to stack this credit with other deals that are forthcoming from Samsung.

Our advice is that even if you’re a little bit interested in Samsung’s tech or its next line of phones, it can’t hurt to pre-reserve. It’s free of charge with just a name and email, and it puts you in a great position should you choose to preorder when the device comes.
