Will Smith Shares 'Favorite Picture' of Son Jaden For 25th Birthday

Will Smith is the proud father of a newly-minted 25 year old, as his son Jaden Smith rang in another trip around the sun on Saturday, July 8.
The King Richard star, who shares Jaden with longtime wife Jada Pinkett Smith, took to social media to celebrate the milestone b-day while sharing his "favorite picture" that the father-son duo have together: a black and white snap in which the elder Smith has his arm slung around his son's shoulder, both reading a page in Jaden's hand.
"Happy Birthday, J-Diggy," the 54-year-old actor wrote in the Instagram tribute on Saturday, adding, "It’s crazy that you’re 25?!?!"
"When I was 25 I had a 2 yr. old," he added, referring to his firstborn son, Trey Smith, 30, whom he shares with ex-wife Sheree Zampino.
"I’m just sayin’," his playful caption continued. "Wha’s up? What you doin’ over there?"
"BTW," he added, "this is my favorite picture of us."

"He said give me a grandchild now!!! Lol," one commenter joked of Smith, who is also a dad to his and Pinkett Smith's 22-year-old daughter Willow Smith.
"No rush on being the fresh PopPop of bel air," someone else cleverly quipped.
"Someone wants to be a grandpa. #justsayin," another follower echoed.
Other fans were more enamored with the sweet father-son moment captured in the black-and-white photo, with one person calling them a "Sacred, magical father-son duo. Happy Birthday to Jaden. 🦄 🦄."
"I'm thankful to see one of the most beautiful relationship between the father and a son," another fan wrote in the comments about the two Pursuit of Happyness co-stars.

Jaden also shared his own birthday post to Instagram, calling himself "Birthday Boy 🌈🍄❤️❤️💕🫀🌊💙" in a carousel shared one day before his big day.
His post contained an assortment of different photos, including a few selfies and glimpses at some of the adventures he's been on lately.
"Happy Birthday to the ICON living 🎉❤️🔥" one of his followers commented, while someone else called him the "Coolest ever."
