No offense to blast chillers (love ya!), but few appliances can lift one's spirits as quickly as a refrigerator can. Fizzy drinks, cold pizza, a pint of fresh sugar cookie milk—it's all just a step and a furtive snatch away! And while we're actually quite fond of the familiar stainless steel fronts on traditional models, an even happier version now exists: Smeg's Fab 28 Mickey Mouse Refrigerator—originally launched in the UK last year to celebrate Mickey's 90th birthday—is now available from Williams Sonoma in the US. Howdy!

The Mickey model is not cheap, per se—we're talking $2,799—but that's because it's a very legit appliance. Smeg's Fab 28 fridge design, originally released in the U.S. in 2007, has skyrocketed in popularity due to its iconic look and functionality. "A"-rated for efficiency, the small space-friendly fridge has a surprising 9.22-cubic-foot capacity, including 3 shelves, door storage, a wine rack, and vegetable container. Plus, it makes your kitchen look 100x more Instagrammable due to the rounded, retro silhouette.

Enter Mickey. Emblazoned on the front of this marvelous collaboration between Disney and Smeg is the mouse himself, mischievously reaching for the door handle. He's cast in black-and-white—an appropriately touch considering Smeg's appliances are all 50s-inspired. Will seeing Mickey in the kitchen make your kids actually want to cook with you? Eat their vegetables? Break into Disney songs during breakfast? One can only hope.

But what we do know for sure is that fans will clamor to get their hands on this collab: After the 90 limited-edition originals sold out in the UK in three days last year, Smeg and Disney decided to bring the model stateside.
