Smash Mouth Just Came for Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian on Twitter and I’m Not Okay

Today in WHAT YEAR ARE WE EVEN LIVING IN, Smash Mouth is out here writing salty musings about Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker on Twitter, and I, for one, am not okay.

In what appears to be a response to the very extra/beautiful floral display Travis commissioned for Kourtney on Mother’s Day, Smash Mouth took to their official Twitter account and wrote, “Not used to Travis Barker having a full time publicist (Kardashians) trying to keep him in the 24-hour news cycle. Glad you got Kourtney a ‘lavish gift’ for Mother’s Day. Lol.”

I mean, OKAY, SMASH MOUTH!!!!

At this point, you’re probably wondering why Smash Mouth seemingly has so much animosity toward Travis. Truly couldn’t tell you. But Travis did recently call them out for playing a packed concert during the pandemic, saying it’s “a little disrespectful” and that “I think it’s kind of a weird time to play shows. I’d rather wait longer, man. I’d rather, like, tap in the studio. Make great music.”

He also added, “I just think it’s a little disrespectful to go out and be playing shows or have groups of people and have everyone sick you know? I think it’s a time to just make great music and lock in and you know, 12 months from now, go crazy.…Even right now, we’re—everyone has masks on. I think it’s your responsibility to be safe for your family and other people. I don’t know, lead by example? But to each their own, everyone does their own thing, you know?”

I mean…Travis is not wrong, so!
