Slowear and Globe-Trotter Release First Collaborative Luggage Capsule
Italian brand Slowear has announced its inaugural collaboration with high-end British luggage brand Globe-Trotter, a partnership sparked from the concept of bringing tradition into the future.
The collaboration fuses both brands’ heritage, technical expertise, attention to detail and commitment to performance for a classic cabin trolley.

“[Slowear] is a brand I have always admired, and they make products that stand the test of time, just like we do at Globe-Trotter. We’ve used our original case for this collaboration, which features our iconic shape, unmistakable style and unrivaled quality to make a product that we think the Slowear customer will enjoy for many many years to come,” said Vicente Castellano, Globe-Trotter’s executive chairman.
The classic cabin trolley model has been reimagined and simplified to its core elements, with its exterior boasting a shell constructed from 14 layers of specially treated recycled paper — sans laces or straps — delivering durability that surpasses leather and a weight that is lighter than aluminum, donning an exclusive combination of Slowear brand-inspired colors in dark green and black. Meanwhile, the interior is lined with a soft and luxurious Alcantara coating, marking the first time this material has graced a Globe-Trotter product.
Measuring 42 x 56 x 21 centimeters, the cabin trolley, which is available for purchase now, will retail for $2,350 and will only be available on a made-to-order basis, with the option for personalization, allowing buyers to add a touch of exclusivity to their travel gear with their initials embossed on the front of the shell in a gray and black color option.
“This collaboration wants to slightly push on performance, and rather than a leisure-inspired item, we wanted to work on a performance product for all urban travelers. We are very pleased with the result, which we trust will also please our customers for whom the project was designed,” said Piero Braga, chief executive officer of Slowear.
