At 7:13 p.m.: The moon is inconjunct Chiron
The cosmic weather is exceedingly quiet today until the evening, when the Virgo moon forms a quincunx with Chiron in Aries! The quincunx is a lesser-known aspect, but it is significant in that it helps us to pinpoint (and therefore address) confusing emotions which are otherwise difficult to put into words. Quincunx issues are akin to seeing something disturbing in your peripheral vision, out of the corner of your eye. Yet, when you attempt to glance at the problem full-on, it vanishes. So too is our Virgo moon assessment of a Chironic issue that we must face today. Typically, Chiron-related anxieties are stimulated when an event or conversation prompts a direct confrontation with a buried subconscious insecurity. Yet in this instance, we can’t quite put our finger on the problem. We have not had a direct confrontation. Instead, we feel a sort of existential pressure to deal with a dilemma that we can’t fully conceptualize. We will not be able to attempt a meaningful reconciliation until after this transit passes. In the meantime, be aware that anxieties which are prompted this evening will be quick to pass.

At 10:53 p.m.: The moon is trine Uranus
After nightfall, the moon trines Uranus in Taurus, helping us to lean into the unknown! We won’t have to go looking for excitement now. By trusting our gut, we discover paths of least resistance which lead to our highest evolution. Typically, Uranus’ unpredictable nature runs counter to the desires and intentions of the Virgo moon, which values stability and structure. Yet, at this time, we find that we can embrace flexibility to create rules that don’t box us in. Change inspires, freeing us from a mental rut.
