Later in the morning, the first quarter moon has us reflecting on intentions set during the January 2 Capricorn new moon. How are we making headway on our new year’s resolutions? We have already likely hit some forks in the road that have forced us to remain flexible, set new parameters, or modify our participation. However, the Aries moon is all about fresh energy and starting new things, which poses a major obstacle to maintaining Capricorn's intentions. Here we hit our first major hurdle as we realize that commitments take time to see results! We may wish to throw in the towel, or make excuses for why our resolutions were too complex to bring to fruition. But this moon also forms a trine with its own ruler, Mars, from Sagittarius, providing us with extra courage and wherewithal. Although we recognize the magnitude of our current undertaking, we still find our goal to be exciting and inspiring. Push through doubts and remember that continuing to switch things up periodically will restore your enthusiasm.
