At 8:07 a.m.: Pallas is conjunct Neptune

In the morning, the asteroid Pallas conjuncts Neptune in Pisces, assisting us in developing a creative strategy. Spiritual or artistic practices may feature prominently in the days to come, helping define our rituals and praxes. It would be a waste to let this transit pass by without establishing some covenant within ourselves, to permit our dreams to shape the objectives of our work and daily lives. Psychic hits should be heeded, and intuitive impulses followed. There is wisdom to be found, even in sources that are apparently nonsensical. Remember that the imagination is a space of conception, and all physical creations have been birthed from this space. The trick lies in believing the impossible is possible.

At 3:48 p.m.: The moon is opposite the sun, and the moon void of course begins

Mid-afternoon, the Cancer full moon illuminates the needs of our emotional body. Its opposition to Pluto may create power struggles or oppositional dynamics that force us to cut ties with toxic or demanding personalities. We now see the ways in which we have been taken advantage of, manipulated, or forced to shoulder burdens that are not ours to bear. And yet, we believe these adversarial dynamics have provided us with the resilience, power, and inner strength necessary to navigate the world. Life is not simply about surviving. Our intent should be to thrive, something that can only happen when we fill our own cup first before filling others’. This transit may force us to draw a line in the sand, part ways with unhealthy work habits or with people who demand our time and energy, yet remain unwilling to give us our due. Our “sensitivity” may be used against us, with others claiming we are overly emotional. It is for us to determine how and why our feelings are valid, not another’s place to cast judgement while expecting conciliation. When we honor our feelings, we empower ourselves. Subsequently, we create our own security systems instead of looking to others to “protect” us. The moon then falls into a void lasting until after sundown. Use this time for cleansing activities such as ritual baths and showers, crying, cooking, or journaling.
