At 3:31 a.m.: The moon enters Capricorn, and the moon void of course ends

In the pre-dawn hours, the moon enters Capricorn, ending its void of course that began last night. Over the next two days, as the moon waxes, we should expect some stabilization of eclipse energies. This doesn’t mean that events won’t continue to occur that shift our trajectory or force us to evolve our way of thinking. But under the Capricorn moon, we have an instinctive way of putting one foot in front of the other without stumbling into overwhelm. Patience and persistence will see us through our struggles if we refuse to let fear interrupt our progress.

At 5:03 p.m.: The moon is square Chiron

In the late afternoon, the moon squares off with Chiron in Aries, stimulating awkwardness. We may feel that, despite our best efforts, we are not “getting anywhere.” In truth, we are just not getting anywhere fast enough. Eclipse lessons are still incoming, and our impulse is to rush through what is being presented so that we can move past it. This aspect relates back to moments in childhood where we diminished ourselves in order to survive trauma. But at this time, we must stick with the discomfort. If we don’t grant it our attention, we will never understand it enough to finally heal. The only way out is through.
