After nearly a decade of development, Skull and Bones has finally graced PCs and consoles. The live-service pirate life simulator doesn’t exactly have a story, at least not a detailed one and players are already starting to reach its finish line. After getting your hands on all the ships it has to offer, what more can you do? Thankfully, Ubisoft is already preparing to deploy more content soon, with extensive plans for the game’s first year already announced.

Here is everything you need to know about Skull and Bones' endgame and roadmap.

Skull and Bones: Endgame Explained

The endgame of Skull and Bones will see the player climbing the ladder of the Kingpin ranks. Scurlock and Rahma, who were once allies during the base game’s events, will become rivals. Ubisoft has announced that the game’s first year will see four seasons, with each one lasting for 12 weeks. It’s a common live-service model putting the focus on key characters each season, with one major boss guiding the theme of the season.

New takeover missions will let players control the manufactories, which can be acquired by completing Legendary Heists and Hostile Takeover missions. Ubisoft will also add new quality-of-life features to the game, with new mechanics like being able to bribe corrupt officials and assign ship fleets to your trade routes.

As for PvP activities, there are three of these that will keep you busy - Helm Wagers and Cutthroat Cargo. There will also be time-limited events each season, such as the Dragon Boat race and Mid-Autumn festivals. Finishing these missions will get you new loot, further boosting your Kingpin rank. Beware though as the online leaderboards will be reset each season.
