Skull and Bones - How To Get Acacia Wood

skull-and-bones-island

Skull and Bones wants you to dive into a Pirate fantasy, but you can’t do that without having a great ship. Unlike the game that inspired it (Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag), you can’t just waltz into a port and demand to buy a ship. No, you’ll have to work for it, and that means harvesting resources like acacia wood. After doing so, you'll be able to be on your journey to get a proper ship worthy of sailing the high seas.

Thankfully, getting acacia is relatively easy, and this is how you do it.

After getting the saw from the carpenter, open up your map. All of the required locations will already be highlighted on the map, but you'll need to look for the tree icon, which represents acacia when roaming around the world. Just zoom into the map to find it.

The image above shows the relevant nearby locations during the mission, so just choose any of the icons and sail to that area. You won't have to travel too far at the beginning of the game, so just pick the closest location.

Skull and Bones Acacia Mini-game

Unlike Black Flag and some other pirate games, you don't need to leave your ship to gather resources. Just get close to the location until you get the on-screen prompt to harvest, which triggers a mini-game. It's a simple enough game where you have to hit the required button at the right time, ideally when the saw reaches the green area, to harvest acacia.

And there you have it, wasn't that simple? There's one thing to keep in mind though - Skull and Bones is a multiplayer-focused game, so many resources are shared with different players. So, not all acacia locations will have it in stock at all times. In that case, just wait for a while before they respawn.
