Skittles contest will provide new NYC apartment and pay rent for a year

NEW YORK (PIX11) – One lucky person will get to “live the rainbow” in a rent-free New York City apartment for a year thanks to Skittles.

The contest is in celebration of the new candy, Skittles Littles, parent company Mars Inc. announced Tuesday. The lucky winner will get to live in Carmel Place, Manhattan’s first micro-unit apartment building in Murray Hill. The micro apartment was decorated by TikTok’s famous interior decorator, Dani Klarić.

“Skittles isn’t afraid to max out the micro and deliver a truly pleasantly perplexing way to experience our newest innovation, Skittles Littles,” said Ro Cheng, Vice President at Mars. “We hope to inspire moments of everyday happiness for fans, helping them enjoy the little things in life through our Skittles Littles Living apartment.”

The unit has a walk-in closet, a separate bathroom, and a huge window that showcases natural light, video shows.
