Skippy Made Peanut Butter & Jelly Mini's, And They're Even Better Than Uncrustables

Making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is about the easiest meal a person could make. Yet, we live in a world where Uncrustables are wildly popular. Maybe it's because there's no need to throw away innocent crust trimmings and you're therefore wasting less bread? Or perhaps it's because the texture of the defrosted frozen white bread is just the perfect amount of squishy. We're not sure. All we know is that frozen and sealed crustless sandwiches exist and thrive. Which is why we care about Skippy's P.B. & Jelly Minis.

Although very similar in spirit to Uncrustables (which are made by Smuckers, btw), Skippy made theirs mini. They look more golden around the exterior and less like fluffy white bread than their rivals. And they're missing the iconic crimping.

The mini pb&js aren't particularly new-they were introduced in fall 2018. But an Instagram post from @familyfooddude caught our eye. As of right now, they come in strawberry and grape jelly flavors. You can also opt for Skippy Natural Peanut Butter Spread. Three minis come in a pouch.

Whether you prefer the minis over the Uncrustables comes down to this: Do you prefer Skippy or Smuckers?
