What We Tested This Week: Beboe Therapies CBD Sheet Masks

Who This Is Perfect for: Anyone whose skin could use a little extra TLC(BD)

Take my word for it: When it comes to CBD products, I have literally tried them all. I am this site's resident guinea pig for testing all things CBD, and I'm always down to try more. From oils that help with sleep to gummies for stress and anxiety, and bath bombs, lotions, and lubes for better ... you know ... whatever, I have tried just about every damn CBD candy, capsule, vape pen, and tincture out there.

But my latest obsession is the soothing and wondrous world (not to mention trending wellness topic) of CBD skincare.

More specifically: I'm obsessed with these CBD Sheet Masks from Beboe Therapies.

It's true that my Spidey senses went slightly berserk at first when I saw the price tag of these luxe sheet masks. $78 for a pack of five?! $16 per mask?! Surely someone must be kidding. But there's a reason why Beboe Therapies' sleek line of cannabis products is aptly nicknamed "the Hermès of marijuana" by The New York Times: This sh!t is beautiful. And effective.

I'm a sucker for good packaging, so let's just start there. Beboe is co-founded by tattoo artist Scott Campbell, which explains the gorgeous line work and geometric detail on each of their luxe cannabis products, from CBD vape pens to THC pastilles and much more.

The sheet masks come in a deep green-gray box that is basically dripping in shiny bronze line work. It's bejeweled. I was bedazzled.

The five masks are also gorgeously, individually packaged, each one wrapped in its own sleek envelope like a precious gift from the CBD skincare gods.

Once unfolded and taken out of their envelopes, the sheet masks themselves also have some cool geometric pattern work for further aesthetic pleasure. These sheet masks are significantly thicker, more cotton-like, and drier than other masks that I've tried, which at first made me a bit leery since I usually like my face to be basically dripping in serum when I use a sheet mask. But not with these guys. Different story.

Once I applied the mask to my face (after exfoliating, cleansing, and toning, duh) and lined everything up all serial killer-like, the first thing I noticed was the refreshing scent — citrus, aloe, and lavender oil — and next I felt a subtle cool tingle wash over my skin. Beyond containing 50 milligrams of CBD, each mask also packs a powerful list of natural ingredients, including brightening vitamin C, nourishing vitamin E, conditioning algae extract, and replenishing ceramides. All plant-based ingredients — no parabens or silicone.

After leaving the mask on for about 20 minutes per the instructions and sprawling out on my imaginary beach cabana in front of my air conditioner, I peeled it off and patted in the extra serum. There wasn't as much liquid to rub in like I'm accustomed to. Instead, this sheet mask leaves behind a thick, slightly sticky layer of serum. Different, but exciting!

I noticed immediately that my skin (especially on my cheekbones, chin, and forehead) looked plump. Dewy. Glowy. I looked like I just either had really good sex or left a hot yoga class. These sheet masks, especially when followed by a few drops of Beboe's High Potency CBD Serum, give stressed-out skin new life.

If your skin is feeling stressed, your complexion looks a little dull, or you're in need of some at-home CBD skincare therapy, get yourself these awesome CBD sheet masks, stat.
