Choosing the Melbourne area "as the place to open our first clinic in Florida was a natural decision," Skin Laundry CEO Gregg Throgmartin said. "As a coastal city with a vibrant arts scene, outstanding surf and historic downtown, Melbourne embodies the culture of Skin Laundry."

"Our fast, effective laser and resurfacing treatments are especially good for addressing and remedying skin issues and concerns related to heat, humidity and sun exposure, including acne, hyperpigmentation, premature aging and dehydration," Throgmartin said. "And we are confident our clinic will be warmly welcomed by residents in Melbourne and along the Space Coast who won’t settle for anything other than the best in skin care innovation."

Called “revolutionary” by Forbes and named one of Fast Company’s “Beauty Startups to Watch,” Skin Laundry’s treatments are designed to address a wide variety of superficial and chronic skin care concerns, including acne and acne scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea and dullness.

To achieve optimal results, the company said it employs proprietary protocols using best-in-class technology for its laser and resurfacing facials. The treatments’ benefits are both immediate and cumulative, and require little to no downtime.

All Skin Laundry facials are performed by licensed, trained professionals overseen by a team of board-certified physicians employing prescribed protocols developed by the brand’s chief medical officer, Roberta Del Campo, a Miami-based laser fellow and leading expert in the field of dermatology.

Every registered nurse and/or laser specialist (depending on location and state guidelines) performing the facials receives rigorous and ongoing training on Skin Laundry protocols. Targeted plans are tailored to clients’ individual needs and maximum results are achieved with continued and consistent treatment, made convenient and affordable via Skin Laundry’s “Laundry Club'' membership, which offers ease and affordability to promote regular visits and the best possible outcomes.

Skin Laundry has performed over 2.5 million laser facials since its founding, and continues to innovate with the most advanced skin care technology in the market, while making good on its mission to offer accessible, state-of-the-art treatments.

The brand’s curated line of dermatologist-recommended skin care, available exclusively in-clinic and online, can be used to complement treatments or on their own.

First-time clients can try the Signature Laser facial at Skin Laundry Melbourne for $75 (normally $275), which includes a free skin consultation. Memberships begin at $175.

Skin Laundry’s locations, treatments and skin care line can be found by going to skinlaundry.com.

The Viera location is at 2261 Town Center Ave., Suite 143, at The Avenue Viera, an open-air lifestyle center that is shopping and dining destination.

Skin Laundry was founded in 2013 with the belief that everyone deserves healthy, radiant skin and the confidence that comes with it. It offers skin rejuvenating treatments, with over 60 clinics worldwide.

Using advanced technology and dermatologist-approved products, Skin Laundry said it is on a mission to revolutionize skin care through safe, effective customized treatments that produce transformative results for all skin types and tones. Skin Laundry says skin care is synonymous with health care, and the brand’s focus is on prevention, maintenance and correction to deliver both immediate results and long-term benefits.
