The Skin Care Hack Jenna Dewan Tatum Uses to Get Dewy-Looking Skin Fast

You’ve been cordially invited into Jenna Dewan Tatum’s
bathroom for the inside scoop the exact skin care routine behind that glow. The
actress and World of Dance host recently
shared a video on her YouTube channel that dishes on every step she takes “every
morning and every night” to get her skin looking clear and radiant when the makeup comes off. Here, the top
skin-perfecting secrets to note.

Dewy-skin saviors:
To get her skin naturally dewy, Dewan Tatum calls on four main
products: Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops ($145), Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum ($300), Living Libations Rose Oil ($40) and, by the looks of how used the bottle is, her favorite
pick, Nurse Jamie EGF Platinum 3 Restorative Facial Elixir ($198). “This has been in
my car and 14 different makeup bags, she says of the essential
oil–infused oil. “It gives me a little bit of that dewy glow.”

Must-have protection:
Protecting her skin is not
something she takes lightly. “Anyone who knows me or follows me at all understands
that I have to wear a ridiculous amount of sunscreen for my melasma,” Dewan
Tatum explains. “I can’t even really see the sun,” she says as she drops a
palm-full of Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Sun Drops SPF 50 ($145) into her hands before
applying it onto her face. “So I put a ton of sunscreen on—and always remember
your neck and chest, and hands. My mother taught me that.”

Skin care hack:
When applying all of her skin products, Dewan Tatum pats and pushes the formulas into her skin instead of rubbing them in. “Maybe it’s because it makes me think it’s getting it in a little deeper,” she says.

Drugstore do:
While she’s particular about many of her products (she’s a clear die-hard fan of Nurse Jamie and Dr. Barbara Sturm) she’s not picky on one surprising thing: eye cream. In the video, she uses La Mer Eye Concentrate ($205), which her makeup
artist Patrick Ta introduced her to. “But really and truly, any eye cream is
good. Anything from the drugstore—I use all different eye creams.”

De-aging retinol:
Dewan Tatum uses Dr. Lancer Evening Age Defense Therapy (easy-to-apply retinol–infused pads) a few times a week. “Only use it at nighttime because the retinol can make your skin really sensitive for daytime,” she says.

Brightening booster:
“This is magic for melasma,” Dewan Tatum says of SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence ($99). “This is for anyone who has really any kind of brightening needs.”

Makeup-bag mainstay:
To seal everything in, she uses Nurse Jamie’s Uplift Facial Massage Beauty Roller ($69), which the actress says tightens the skin, wakes it up
and pushes your product in deeper. “I also keep this in the car and use it when I’m
driving,” she says. “I’m surprised this isn’t in a paparazzi picture yet.”
