Skiing North America's Longest Run Top To Bottom

Revelstoke Mountain Resort, located in British Columbia, Canada, is North America's largest ski resort by vertical. At 5,620 feet of lift-serviced skiable vertical, it can compete with some of the largest resorts in the Alps.

Unsurprisingly, Revelstoke is also home to the longest trail in North America. 'The Last Spike' is a 9.5 mile (15.2 km) long meandering green circle run that descends the resort's full vertical.

Watch as YouTuber Maxim B. Vidricaire skis the trail in its entirety in the video below:

Hand up. I didn't watch that video in its entirety, but it was equally impactful to skim through to see that Vidicaire was still skiing. It puts the trail's length and the mountain's vertical into perspective.

It should take even the fastest skier a significant amount of time to descend 'The Last Spike' due to the multiple switchbacks and the mellow slope angle.

The trail might not be appealing to the powder enthusiasts and extreme terrain seekers, but doesn't taking a 20-minute cruise on the continent's longest trail down the continent's largest vertical sound relaxing?

Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't mind shutting my brain off for 20 minutes and taking a nice and easy cruise down 'The Last Spike' at the end of the day.
