Skiers Ride Melting Glacier In The Summer Sun

The Theodul Glacier, located in Zermatt, Switzerland, is still offering up summertime skiing to late-season snowsports enthusiasts.

Watch as Buldozlife -- a crew of European freestylers -- descends on Zermatt to enjoy some glacial park skiing.

The terrain park in this video is Snowpark Zermatt, a summer freestyle hub open to skiers from July until mid-October. To reach the park, skiers ride a series of cable cars that travel from the town of Zermatt high into the Swiss mountains, where views of the imposing Matterhorn abound.

In short, this place is high on my ski spot bucket list. The idea of shredding slushy snow in the Alps before taking a leisurely cable car ride back into the beautiful town of Zermatt to lounge around in the sun is beyond romantic. Fingers crossed that someday this dream of mine becomes a reality.

As for BuldozLife, the crew consistently drops satisfying bites of freestyle content. My favorite of which is this video, shot in the streets of Madrid during the historic 2021 Spanish snowstorm.
