Ski Resort Writes Heartfelt Tribute For The Season's Last Patch Of Snow

It's a sad day when the last patch of snow melts away at a ski resort.

Sugarbush, a popular ski resort in Vermont, wrote the following heartfelt tribute to the final patch of snow that melted away on June 6th, 2023. Fair warning- the post might make you cry.

Poor fella never stood a chance.

Sugarbush is being dramatic for comedic effect, and it gave me a good chuckle. I've never seen a ski resort write a 'In Memoriam' for a patch of snow, but more should.

On that note, I'd like to see a ski resort hold a service where skiers from the area step up to the podium to recall their best stories of the season. Wouldn't that be fun?

Some people will laugh, some people might cry, but most importantly, everybody will come together to celebrate the season.

Add some live music afterwards, offer discounted drinks and food, make some merch, and BOOM. You have an end-of-the-season party that pleases everybody.

To all of the ski resort marketing/events people reading this, you're welcome. You can have that idea for free. All I ask is that you invite me to your event next season.

Oh, and send me a t-shirt if I can't make it.
