The 2022-23 season continues to approach for the Philadelphia 76ers, and they will soon receive their opportunity to rebound from a second-round ouster from the 2022 playoffs.

The preseason schedule continues to be released in bits and pieces. The Sixers’ preseason matchup with the Brooklyn Nets on Oct. 3 had already been disclosed. Now comes news of another game. The Sixers will host LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets in the preseason on Oct. 12.

Per Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer, who got his hands on the Hornets’ preseason schedule, the game will tip off at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. EDT. It is Charlotte’s final game of the preseason.

Assuming it would also be Philadelphia’s final preseason game, this will give the Sixers a final look at some younger players before making final roster decisions. The 2022-23 season will begin sometime around Oct. 20.
