Six Decades of Iconic Grammys Moments in Photos
In 1958, a number of young stars—including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin—gathered in the Grand Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton for a rather modest first Grammys ceremony. Since then, the award show has become the biggest institution in modern music, honoring, and often creating, some of the most iconic artists in contemporary music. Below we take a history through the first six decades of the Grammys with some of the greatest images.
