According to The Blast, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his brother Marc have agreed to plead guilty to charges of tax fraud at their upcoming hearing on Friday. If convicted, Mike faces up to 15 years in prison; Marc faces up to 25.

PEOPLE reports the pair was indicted in 2014 after failing to properly pay taxes on $8.9 million-worth of income between 2010 and 2012. In April of last year, they were indicted again on further charges including tax evasion and structuring and falsifying records.

Though he still plans on attending and filming the Jersey Shore Family Vacation reunion, The Situation seemed to understand things were not looking great for him when the cast’s first reunion aired this summer. The entire half-hour was pegged to him wanting to tie up loose ends with his roommates should his forthcoming trial not end well.

As a wise woman (JWoww) once explained: “We’re old. We adults now. We pay taxes! Oh shit, Mike did not.” Her even wiser meatball counterpart (Snooki) then warned: "Don't fuck with the IRS.”
