It doesn't take much for Tamera Mowry-Housley to get the attention of her fans on social media, but one new post has folks in awe.
In a post uploaded on the Hallmark actress' Instagram, she acknowledged how she gained a significant amount of new followers on the app. As a way to introduce herself online, Tamera added a series of images of her wearing minimal (if any makeup). As she displayed her natural beauty, she used the caption to share how much she appreciates connecting with her collective fanbase.
"To all my new followers. Hiiii!" she excitedly wrote on August 22. "My name is Tamera Mowry-Housley. People know me from Sister, Sister, The Real, and most recently Hallmark movies. I love creating a space for community, positivity, laughter, and all things family. Please introduce yourselves if you are new here or even if you’re not. Say hello! 👋🏽."
When followers saw her photos, they quickly rushed to the comments section to praise her for going au naturel.
"So pretty 😍!" one person wrote on Instagram. "YOU ARE GLOWING FAV 😍!!!!" another exclaimed. "The skin is giving everything and the hair is gorgeous!" a different follower complimented.
Recently, Tamera has spoken out about prioritizing her health and self-care over the years. In an interview with BET.com in February 2022, she revealed why she feels keeping an eye out for her personal happiness is essential.
"Self-care is not selfish. It's actually the opposite," she explained. "Even if it's only like 5-10 minutes, you realize the amazing benefit of caring for yourself — you look good, and everyone around you benefits from it. You'll thank yourself."
