Single-Ingredient Beauty Products Are Now at Target to Make Your Life Simpler

If you hit up your local Target at the end of last week, you may have noticed a few new natural options on the shelves.

Honing in on "simple skin care" trend, Brooklyn-based S.W. Basics is now offering Single-Ingredient packets exclusively at the retailer. They're $4 a pop and, as the name suggests, there's only one, very fine-tuned ingredient found in each of the five—Activated Charcoal, French Green Clay, Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter—varieties.

Uncomplicated, yes, but the one-time-use packets also deliver a cool customization factor: You can mix and match them, add them to other products to "amp" them up or just add water and apply directly to skin to target a specific (think oiliness, pores, dehydration, texture) condition. Now that these skin-loving ingredients are so accessible, there's no excuse not to give them a try.
