Ivana Trump-inspired look worn by singer at the 2018 Grammys
Is it 1992 — or 2018? For the 60th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night, Andra Day’s ensemble gave off major retro vibes.
The singer walked the red carpet wearing a lilac tuxedo gown with a dangerously high slit featuring red trimming and matching buttons. Her hair was pulled back into a bouffant updo, and she accessorized with layers of necklaces, including a diamond choker.
The early-aughts look made many on social media assume she could have taken her fashion inspiration from Patsy Stone in Absolutely Fabulous.
Someone else thought she looked like Tyra Banks’s character from Life-Size.
And another called the look “Ivana Trump” realness.
Pretty spot on, right?
