Simone Rocha x H&M Launch A Dreamy Collaboration

H&M is back with another groundbreaking collaboration, this time they are teaming up with the Irish designer Simone Rocha on a full collection for women, men, and children for the spring and summer. This collaboration marks the first time Rocha has released childrenswear and menswear collections, and is also the first time H&M is partnering with an Irish designer.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of her eponymous brand, Simone Rocha pays homage to some of her classic pieces, signature looks, and her favorite references. Her inspiration is eclectic and wide-ranging, from Tudor courtiers to Hong Kong crafts. The playfully girlish collection features Rocha’s signature bubble silhouettes, romantic prints, traditional plaid, silky hair ribbons, and lots of pearls. (Spoiler alert: these items are especially adorable for children!). Sustainability was a huge factor for Rocha, she worked with H&M to source organic cotton, recycled polyester and compostable yarn.

Rocha's pieces encourage shoppers to mix and match seasons, cherish, enjoy, and most importantly, wear the pieces. The garments themselves take us on a journey, from a voluminous pink floral dress to a punk feeling plaid blazer. The campaign video by Tyler Mitchell took us away to a fairytale land, brimming over with whimsy, beauty, and joy.
