Simone Biles Stands by Her Man in Game-Day Glam

Simone Biles must have gotten my memo about the WAG revival. The look she wore to her husband's latest playoff game is irrefutable evidence: Biles can rock the sidelines just as well as center stage. The Olympic gold medalist shared photos of her ’fit while supporting her husband, Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens, as his team battled the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL playoffs on Sunday.

Biles commemorated the win with an Instagram post that showcased her bedazzled Packers motorcycle jacket, green and yellow boots, oval-shaped wedding ring, sparkly silver French manicure, and Hailey Bieber–coded “J” necklace. “We dem packerz,” the gymnast captioned the snapshots. “Wheew,” her husband of almost one year commented beneath.

Luckily, makeup artist Alayza Casey posted a closer look at her game-day glam, which emphasized her eyes with black eyeliner and thick lashes before topping things off with a glossy nude lip.

Biles and Owens originally got hitched in April 2023 but married again in Mexico in December. Around the same time as their second ceremony, the two started taking a little heat online over comments made by Owens during a guest appearance on the Pivot podcast. He claimed he hadn't known who Biles was before she messaged him on the dating app Raya—only that she seemingly had a lot of followers. When asked who the real “catch” in the relationship was—Owens himself or his seven-time Olympic-medal-winning wife—he quipped: “I always say we, the men, are the catch. I always say we the catch.”

Simone Biles has made it clear she plans to stand by her man in the dustup, but even Taylor Swift's NFL boyfriend—Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce—cracked a sly joke about Owens on his podcast.
