Simone Ashley Makes a Major Statement in Moschino at the 2022 Met Gala

Simone Ashley made a memorable debut at the 2022 Met Gala.

The breakout Bridgerton star wore a glamorous ensemble courtesy of Moschino for fashion's biggest night, opting for a gold-and-black cropped bustier, a matching body-skimming maxi skirt, a back statement bow, and an attached shawl. She wore her hair slicked back in a sleek ponytail and chose burgundy smoky-eye makeup to complete the sultry look.

The actress has made a number of style statements over the last few weeks, finishing up her Bridgerton press tour from earlier this spring.

The 27-year-old actress previously told BAZAAR.com that her experience joining the world of Bridgerton has been "mad," but one she's ultimately grateful for.

"With most characters, there are factors that you relate to. Kate was one that I definitely empathized with and was rooting for," she said. "It was so much fun [joining the cast]. I mean, it was mad! It was wild! It was crazy! I was so grateful, first and foremost, just to sink my teeth into the amazing material and the love story. But I think that it's a gift to an actor to be presented with such a great character journey. … I will always root for [Kate], and I want her to find happiness. I think everyone deserves it."

Fervent fans of her character, Kate, and Viscount Anthony's engaging love story are in luck, as she is set to return alongside costar Jonathan Bailey for Season 3 of the megahit Netflix series.
