Simone Ashley’s liquid 'aqua waves' hairstyle is so The Little Mermaid

If there were ever a time to channel your inner mythical creature, it would be now. Or perhaps I should say last night [15 May, 2023], for stars including Simone Ashley and my V.I.P boss, Cosmo's Beauty Director, Keeks Reid took to the UK red carpet premiere of The Little Mermaid.
Of course, as you'd expect such A-Listers to, they turned up and out with glamorous looks from head to toe. But our favourite beauty ensemble of the night had to be Bridgerton's Simone with her extra long 'aqua waves', as her hairstylist, Halley Brisker puts it.
Halley took to Instagram to share snaps of his client's look. Take a peak a the two-part carousel post below:
I mean, does it not look like she should be perching on a rock in the middle of the ocean? Photoshop whizzes, do your thing.
For the hip-skimming, glossy, liquid-style, Halley discloses that he used Olaplex products. Now, while he is yet to specify which exactly, our faves for a similar result would be the No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask (£28) and No.7 Bonding Oil (£28).
Use either/or both in conjunction before styling for a weightless, reparative finish. Body and shine never looked so good!
Having said all that, Simone isn't the first to recreate such ethereal hair. Within the last year, we've seen countless celebs rock mermaid-like wavy hurrdos; so much so that I'd go as far as to assume that Ariel has been Hollywood's underground inner circle hairspiration for quite some time... try saying that twice as fast.
Julia Fox, Ice Spice and Emily Ratajkowski, step aside for we have a new mermaid in town (read: under the sea).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, someone get this actor a dinglehopper, pronto!
