Simon Cowell Admits to Having 'Too Much' Botox

From Men's Health

First he apologized to Jai McDowall, and now he's opening up about his personal life—something's telling us Simon Cowell is mellowing with age.

Ahead of another Britain's Got Talent: The Champions this weekend, Simon has been waxing lyrical about his, well, waxy appearance, admitting that he had used "too much" Botox over the years.

Simon recently revealed that he and fellow BGT judge Amanda Holden enjoy watching back old shows from the so-called "Botox years," calling the clips "hysterical."

"I love watching 'the Botox years.' All of us are like, 'Christ, we had a lot that year. Not so much that year… Maybe a bit too much that year,'" he said (via The Mirror).

Unafraid to take the piss out of himself—and Amanda, of course—Simon added: "You know, the old clips of us are hysterical. Amanda's always like, 'What was I thinking?', I said, 'Well, I don't look a lot better.'

"I look all right now, but certain years it was like, 'Wow', I don't know what was going on."

Simon's Botox candor comes shortly after he publicly apologized to former Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall, telling the singer that he was sorry he hadn't given him the right support after his win in 2011.

After a stunning performance on BGT: The Champions last weekend, Simon thrilled fans with a heartfelt apology. "I also respect the fact you've come back and made me look like an idiot and you look fantastic," he said.

"I could not be more thrilled, so here's the standing ovation I should have given you."

Britain's Got Talent: The Champions airs on Saturdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
