Chances Are You've Never Seen Braids as Cool as Sienna Miller’s

Sienna Miller dressed the part of an Anthropologie-chic bride at the premiere of The Lost City of Z in London on Thursday night. To complement her white Alexander McQueen dress, she had her hair in a very of-the-moment half up, half down mini French braid style.

This isn’t the first time Miller has rocked a double braid on the red carpet. She’s a fan of the simple — and easy to DIY — look, which seemed to be just as cool as when she was the queen of the beachy lob. As Teen Vogue points out, the style involves nothing more than moving up your french braids a little further north than usual to the crown of your head.

For those of you who want to channel Miller, the directions are easy: “To add a little something extra, create two mini French braids on either side of your part, stopping at the crown of your head, and secure each end with a clear elastic,” the magazine explains.

If you prefer to get a little more elaborate, Miller can still serve up braid ideas. She’s worn everything from crown braids to fishtails to this magical looking braid-turned-bun creation.

Does The Lost City of Z have a Drybar in it? For the sake of our hair inspiration, we can only hope so.
