Siamese Cat Has Most Adorable Way of Holding Mom’s Phone for Her

If you have a dog or a cat, chances are there's no place they'd rather be than right next to you...or in some cases right on top of you! Frances is mom to a beautiful Siamese cat, and he loves laying with her in her bed every night. Frances does what most of us do, scrolls online until it's time for bed, and her cat has figured out a way to be a part of her nightly routine.

Frances shared her video in mid-May. It shows her lying in bed with the cat on her chest. She also has her phone balanced on her chest, and it's being held in place by the cat! He stretches out his neck to hold it up as he gazes at her. It's adorable!

Of course, people loved Frances' video of her cat helping handle the phone and it has millions of views and nearly 3 thousand comments. Some of them were pretty funny, too. @Abby Scanlon got more than 25 thousand likes when she asked, "Does he also help limit your screen time?" @Megan McIntosh pointed out, "A symbiotic relationship." and @tondreanna esquilin added, "He does NOT live there rent free…rent is paid." @melissacwhatever shared, "His love language: acts of service." And I laughed when @hannah Wheless said, "My cat needs to step up his game."

Siamese Fact Facts

As a child, we had a Siamese cat who was very loving and gentle with all of us kids, even though we were all loud and rambunctious. I'm surprised that she ever came anywhere near us since we were so crazy!

Siamese cats are gorgeous with their black faces against those stunning blue eyes, and they are one of the oldest recognized breeds of Oriental cats. When it comes to cats, Siamese are actually pretty extroverted and enjoy being around people. While people often think of cats as independent and standoffish, the opposite is true with this breed; they actually love being with their humans all the time.

If you enjoy chatty pets, a Siamese fits the bill. They're a very vocal breed and love to meow and 'talk' to their humans. Another Pet Helpful article about the cats made me laugh with their description of just how talkative they are "Siamese cats are regular "Chatty Cathys" and enjoy nothing more than to tell you about their day. Most of them never tire from describing all of the naps they took during the day, all of the kernels of food they ate, all of the bugs they saw, all of the thoughts they had, all of the furniture they destroyed––in great detail."

These cats do get easily bored, so you need to make sure they have plenty to do, otherwise they can be destructive. Make sure to supply them with lots of toys, a scratching post, and some cat-climbing furniture to keep them busy, especially when they are alone.

As you should do before bringing home any pet, make sure to do research on the specific breed you're considering. Each breed has pros and cons, and bringing home a pet just because you think it's cute is a very bad idea that could lead to a very unhappy pet (and owner).
