SI Swimsuit Alum Christen Harper Makes Grand Return for 2023 Issue

Christen Harper is back for her third year in SI Swimsuit!

The 29-year-old model is no stranger to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit as she made her debut in 2021 when she was announced as co-winner of the brand’s open casting call, Swim Search, held in Atlantic City, NJ.

The following year she was announced as the first-ever co-rookie alongside Denise Austin's daughter, Katie Austin, 29. And the images were certainly memorable!

For those who may've missed, in 2022, the model shot with photographer Ben Watts in Barbados for her rookie of the year photos.

“I cannot believe I am in the magazine this year as a rookie,” Harper gushed at the time. “I’m coming from Swim Search and it’s so exciting to just be back with the team, it feels like family and I’m just so excited for such a fun day ahead.”

Harper noted that when she learned she would be appearing in 2022's issue as a rookie, she "screamed and cried" in celebration and immediately called co-rookie, Austin, who had just received the same exciting news.

So, we can only imagine how she reacted to this year's inclusion!

The southern California native first started to pursue her career in modeling at the age of 20. However modeling isn't her only passion, as Harper has also pursued acting, having appeared in a couple films, including Auggie and The Obituary of Tunde Johnson. You may've also seen her in an episode of HBO's hit series Entourage in 2006.
