Contemporary retailer Vince announced that Jack Schwefel has resigned as chief executive officer. The company’s board of directors has appointed David Stefko, current director and former chief financial officer, as interim CEO, and has initiated a search process to identify a permanent CEO. Stefko has over 30 years of senior finance and executive management experience and has been a member of the board since last June after retiring from his role as the CFO, which he held from 2015 to 2023.

Nordstrom Rack

Nancy Mair, Nordstrom Rack’s senior vice president of merchandising and GMM, announced on LinkedIn that she is leaving the company. The news comes roughly two years after she joined the company as senior vice president of Rack merchandising. She cited traveling for a week each month as an influence for her departure.

Global lifestyle apparel company Kontoor Brands announced the appointment of Tom Waldron as chief operating officer. In this role, Waldron will assume responsibility for both Wrangler and Lee globally and maintain oversight of the company’s global supply chain operations.

Nonprofit collective Apparel Impact Institute (Aii) announced the newest addition to its board of directors, Hasitha Premaratne. Hasitha will be the seventh member of the board, bringing the unique and critical supplier perspective to the boardroom. Premaratne currently serves as the managing director of the Brandix Group, driving the overall strategy and transformation of the company while overlooking its global business. He is also the managing director of Brandix India, and sits in group subsidiaries and investment ventures that include Teejay Lanka PLC, Inqube Global and Best Pacific Lanka Ltd.
