VF. Corp announced that Kevin Bailey will be stepping down from the position of Vans’ global president. He will remain on the executive leadership team, reporting to Bracken Darrell, and will transition to lead the Reinvent business transformation plan, and the project teams driving the work. VF is searching for a new Vans brand president. In the interim, Darrell will take a more active role in leading the brand and delivering its turnaround strategies.

Canada Goose

Canada Goose named deputy chief financial officer Neil Bowden as permanent CFO and named current CFO Jonathan Sinclair as president, APAC, both effective April 1, 2024. Larry Li, current president of Mainland China, has been named chief operating officer, APAC, effective Jan. 1.

Bowden currently oversees the global finance team at Canada Goose, having been with the brand for more than seven years. Sinclair has an extensive luxury retail background with over 20 years of global financial and operational experience, having held COO roles with Jimmy Choo and Vertu. Li has over 20 years of luxury experience leading global brands across the APAC region.

UPS

UPS appointed Wilfredo “Wil” Ramos as the company’s new Asia Pacific president, succeeding Michelle Ho, who retired after more than 30 years with the parcel carrier.

Ramos will lead all aspects of UPS’s small package business across the company’s Asia Pacific network, as well as oversee the global brokerage, customer solutions and global revenue operations. He returns to Asia after three years in the Americas, as president of UPS Latin America and president of Americas, global brokerage, customer solutions and global revenue operations.

The International Association of Ports and Harbors

The International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) has elected Gene Seroka, Port of Los Angeles executive director, as vice president, North America region. Seroka will continue his current duties as head of the nation’s busiest port while working with the IAPH in the volunteer role. He began his duties this week, starting after the World Ports 2023 conference in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Liz Bui

Natural rubber producer Yulex has promoted Dr. Elizabeth “Liz” Bui to CEO. She will join the board of directors upon assuming the role and succeed the company’s founding CEO, Jeff Martin. Bui joined Yulex last January as chief business officer as part of its succession planning program. Since assuming that role, she has created a certified supply chain for its raw materials and manufactured component products in Asia, including the first-ever profit-sharing program for natural rubber plantations in Southeast Asia.
