Global enterprise digital commerce platform Vtex has expanded its strategic advisory board with five retail industry leaders. Angela Hsu has more than 20 years of experience in e-commerce, most recently as chief marketing officer of Bed Bath & Beyond and Overstock.com. April Lane, chief e-commerce officer at Hearst, brings over 20 years of retail experience to the board. Michael Relich has served as an advisory board member to multiple retail and e-commerce companies, such as Catch and Newmine, and has deep expertise in strategic planning, retail supply chain, investor relations and strategic planning. Silvia Mazzucchelli brings 25 years of experience as CEO, CMO, divisional GM for brands like Guess, Toms Shoes, American Apparel and Modcloth. Jean-Michel Kientz brings experience from the luxury goods, fashion and beauty sectors, having spent time as CIO with LVMH, Fast Retailing and The Estée Lauder Companies.

The Lycra Company named Gary Smith as its new chief executive officer, effective Nov. 27. Smith will replace Dean Williams, who has been acting CEO since August. Williams will continue as chief financial officer and assist with the transition. Smith will be responsible for The Lycra Company’s global organization and will report to the board of directors.
