The Asics Corporation board of directors will appoint a new president and reappoint the current top executives to posts other than their current ones by Jan. 1. Chairman and director Motoi Oyama has been named senior advisor and director. Oyama will retire as a director after the shareholders general meeting scheduled for Mar. 22.

Yasuhito Hirota, currently serving as president, CEO, COO and representative director, has been named chairman, CEO and representative director. Mitsuyuki Tominaga, current managing executive officer, chief digital officer and chief information officer, has been named president and chief operating officer.

Direct-to-consumer healthcare apparel brand Figs hired Mark Bixby as chief technology officer. He will use Figs’ data and technology capabilities to enhance the shopper experience. Bixby joins Figs with 13 years of experience leading technology at several e-commerce companies. Most recently, he was the vice president of engineering at GameStop, where he led e-commerce technology and rebuilt the company’s core technology.

Lands’ End

American lifestyle brand Lands’ End named Bernard McCracken, interim chief financial officer since January and chief accounting officer since 2014, as CFO. McCracken previously served as Lands’ End’s interim CFO and vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. He is responsible for financial reporting, corporate finance and planning, treasury, tax, procurement, accounting and business analytics. He also leads the investor relations function.

British luxury brand Sunspel named Raul Verdicchi as its new CEO, effective immediately. Nicholas Brooke, the company owner and CEO since 2005, will remain as executive chairman. Verdicchi previously served as the chief commercial officer at AlphaTauri and has over 20 years of experience in finance, operational management, business development and customer experience in multi-channel luxury fashion.

Nordstrom appointed Guy B. Persaud to its board of directors, effective immediately, expanding the board to 12 directors. Persaud has nearly three decades of experience leading billion-dollar businesses and organizations. As president of the new business unit at Procter & Gamble, he is responsible for identifying and operating high-growth and value-creation businesses.

Sustainability consulting firm Quantis appointed Allon Zeitoun as its new managing director and global leader. Based in France, Zeitoun will lead the team working with large, international corporations to increase economic performance while reducing environmental impacts. He has more than a decade of experience as a strategy consultant.

Fit-tech solutions platform Volumental appointed chief marketing officer Brent Hollowell as general manager for North American operations as it expands deeper into the market.

Gen Phoenix

Sustainable leather company Gen Phoenix said chief marketing officer Elyse Winer will also serve as the new general manager of consumer. She joins the team from Material Impact venture firm, where she was an integral partner in Gen Phoenix’s expansion.
