Showgoers Leaned Into Power Dressing on Day 3 of Paris Fashion Week
Power suits, power coats, power boots — you name it.
Whether it's a simple blazer to elevate a more dressed-down look or a wide-legged trouser to create a statement silhouette, it is no secret that Parisians love the elements of suiting. On the third day of Paris Fashion Week, this was as clear as the sunny skies in the city, with power dressing stealing the street-style spotlight.
Some opted for full suits with classic shapes, while others styled separates like coats and jackets that leaned into key design details of a blazer, such as strong, structured shoulders and double-breasted elements.
The power dressing didn't stop at the clothing, but went all the way down to the shoes. Study, edgy boots were the centerpiece of many outfits, including the latest trend of a folded-over boot, creating a fully rectangular shape to contrast the typically rounded-out finale footwear offers a look.
Showgoers also embraced the burgeoning spring season by expanding their color palettes. Pops of sage green and sky blue were seen throughout the day, with hints of brighter hues like pinks and purples making a less frequent appearance.
