My favorite rationale for drinking wine on a whim: It contains resveratrol, a healthy antioxidant. Unfortunately, my reasoning is hardly air-tight; You can acquire resveratrol from other sources — skincare being one of them. As a skincare ingredient, topical resveratrol has proven an effective anti-ager — and poses no risk of a hangover the following morning.

Resveratrol is a key ingredient in the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer. As the product name suggests, so, too are plant stem cells — yet another science-backed anti-ager. Stem cell-spiked creams are hardly cheap; Juice Beauty’s, for instance, is typically $70. For a limited time, however, it’s under $50 at Ulta.

The Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer is a daily anti-aging face cream with a rich, creamy texture and fast-absorbing formula. Designed for all skin types, it brightens skin to deliver a more even-toned complexion over time. Furthermore, it’s packed with seriously effective, plant-based wrinkle-fighting ingredients.

For instance: Resveratrol fends off free radicals found in the environment, in turn, supporting youthful-looking skin by preventing signs of premature skin aging.  As dermatologist Dr. Melanie Palm, MD, previously told InStyle, "Resveratrol has been shown to provide skincare benefits – primarily slowing down the effects of aging skin caused by environmental damage, like sun exposure and pollution." In doing so, the ingredient can delay signs of premature skin aging, including dark spots, laxity, and dullness.  Furthermore, as cosmetic chemist Krupa Koestline previously shared, "it also has been shown to reduce inflammatory cytokines responsible for inflammaging and to stimulate collagen production.”

Joining resveratrol are fruit stem cells — a plant-based alternative to traditional, human-derived stem cells found in skincare and lauded for their wrinkle-smoothing properties. As licensed esthetician Savannah Frommel previously told InStyle, plant stem cells can prove similarly powerful. They’re effective for “slowing signs of aging,” she shares, “as well as repairing fine lines and elasticity loss that's already occurring.”

Finally, vitamin C rounds out the formula; the ingredient, another antioxidant, is hailed for its skin-brightening, hyperpigmentation-fighting properties — and makes virtually any dermatologist’s anti-aging short list.

According to shoppers, the moisturizer’s anti-aging ingredient trio delivers serious results. One shopper, who has been using the cream for years, says it makes skin “smooth” and less wrinkled, adding that they “receive many compliments on [their] complexion” as a result.  Another reviewer says it makes skin feel “smooth and buttery,” while yet another fan notes “it does wonders” for their skin and visibly reduces wrinkles.

For a healthy dose of skin-smoothing, plant-powered, wrinkle-fighting goodness, shop the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer at Ulta while it’s $49 for a limited time.
