We're obsessed with Fran Drescher — her voice (duh), her style, and her secrets for keeping her complexion gorgeously youthful and radiant. While we can't easily obtain the first two, it turns out her glowing skin is within reach. Drescher partnered with cosmetics brand Laura Geller on a collection of primers designed to impart a custom finish, from an ethereal glow to perfectly matte, and other stars including Bethenny Frankel and Paulina Porizkova have joined suit. But back to Drescher: The star's go-to, Hydrate Spackle Primer, is on sale for just $15 (down from $36).

This primer, ideal for normal to dry skin, is designed to resist settling into creases and fine lines.

Why is it a good deal?

This Laura Geller primer is a fan-favorite and, at just $15, it's at the lowest price we've ever seen. Discounts like this nearly 60% price cut are very rare, so if you'd like to try it out, there's no time like the present.

Why do I need this?

The primer is a staple in Drescher's makeup bag. She shared on Instagram that it's the ultimate two-in-one product — hydrating enough that she can skip using a moisturizer. It's formulated to slough away dry, flaky skin and create a smooth, porcelain-like finish. It's also lightweight, not greasy or tacky, so you may forget it's even there. Plus, you can wear it alone or under foundation. "It keeps my makeup looking bright and beautiful all day long," she gushed.

What reviewers say

Drescher is far from the primer's only fan. It has received praise from plenty of shoppers, many of them over the age of 55.

Pros

"Glowing skin," shared a shopper. "Apply before your CC makeup, and it gives you a fresh glow look. I am in my late 70s and this makes me look fresh and healthy. Apply rouge and contour as usual. Looks refreshing!"

"You know ... I was surprised," a new fan shared. "With the name of the product having 'spackle' in it, I was thinking that I was going to be using some really thick product with some type of heavy coverage. I was wrong. This product is very lightweight and moisturizing. I'm 58 and it is easy to apply and is very lightweight on my face. It gives my face such a nice amount of moisture along with filling in my pores in a lightweight manner. It is not spackle at all! I love that the makeup around my eyes doesn't look dry a few hours after applying this product. I will admit ... I also apply it to my neck. It's just great for the fine lines and wrinkles there!"

A third chimed in: "I'm 55 and starting to wrinkle. I've been having a terrible time finding a foundation that doesn't just settle into the wrinkles and make me look cakey and even older. Fortunately, my skin is pretty clear so I've not been wearing foundation for some time. It's not ideal because I am 55, after all, but I felt I had no other choice. I saw an influencer talking about this primer and decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. This made all the difference in the world. ... It just glides on, feels great and now my foundation is smooth and floats on my skin! Even the foundation that looked cakey and accentuated my wrinkles looks great on top of this primer."

Cons

Like any beauty product, it's "not a miracle worker," as one reviewer noted: "The product was okay, I didn't notice a significant change in the appearance of my skin when using it. The cream glides on nicely, makes skin feel nice and soft, and provides an even base under makeup or BB/CC cream."

"It goes on smoothly but I do apply it over moisturizer," said a final shopper. "There is a pump mechanism to get the product out which seems to not work well as I have to shake the tube and do multiple pumps to get the product out. This is with it full, so I'm wondering how it will go as the volume lessens."

Shoppers and celebs alike love this primer because it helps their makeup glide on effortlessly.

Once you've taken proper care of your skin, it's time for a bit of fun. Revlon's Colorstay Creme Eyeshadow is a shopper favorite for a livelier look.

These glowy cream shadows have a silky texture, and the Praline shade is ideal for most complexions. Pro tip: Choose a lighter shade for an inner-eye highlight and use a brush on the main lid to smooth the line out after you apply.

"This creme shadow is amazing," raved one fan. "I'm over 60 and I can pull it off. It's not that sparkly or shimmering. I would say it is sheer but buildable. Even without primer, it will last, but I would recommend a primer first if you want it to stay put and last hours."
