As someone who shops on Amazon for a living, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen the words “holy grail” or “life changing” amongst the thousands of shopper reviews. But of course, as someone who’s tried tons of products (especially in the beauty space), I’ve definitely had my share of disappointments when trying these so-called game-changers. So, when I do come across a product that actually lives up to the hype, there’s no way I’d keep that to myself. Its list of plant-based ingredients include grape extract, which is said to be a “powerful antioxidant” that helps protect your hair and scalp from environmental damage. Plus, it lathers very nicely, which I didn’t really expect given that it is partly a scrub. You can definitely feel your scalp getting clean as you use this. Unlike other clarifying shampoos that have a tendency to dry your hair out, this doesn’t. After drying my hair using a blow-dryer brush (BondiBoost’s is my fave!), I did notice more bounce and fluffiness to my hair. But of course, the extra shine it gave my hair totally sold it for me, and it’s even made its way to my hair care routine.

The two-in-one clarifying shampoo and scrub has thousands of positive reviews, most of which are a perfect five-star rating. It’s honestly not too surprising to see it so highly rated given the amount of people calling it “life changing” or their “holy grail.”

As one wrote, “I don’t even care to leave reviews for many things, but this stuff is pretty life changing. I use it once a week and I have the fluffiest (in an angelic sort of way) softest, bounciest head of hair each time I do. My scalp looks and feels fantastic, I am flake-free, it smells great, and absolutely removes all build-up.
