Shirtless Hunk Kneels Next To His Giant Dog So They Can Both Get Groomed Together
Lee Asher is the proud dad of six rescue dogs. Among those dogs, he has a Saint Bernard named Lillie who is terribly scared of getting groomed.
On December 15, 2017, he took the Saint Bernard to a pet spa in California where she immediately wanted to leave.
Instead of calling it quits, Lee took off his shirt and hopped up on the grooming table on all fours. He then asked the groomer to brush his back to show Lillie that there was nothing to be scared of. “Lillie gets nervous at the groomers, so I got groomed next to her to make her feel better,” Lee wrote in the video’s Instagram caption.
The groomer laughed but took the pink brush and the vacuum, then groomed the Saint Bernard’s dad as if he were a dog.
“It’s OK!” Lee told Lillie. “It feels good!”
The groomer switched between grooming the man and the Saint Bernard. Lee stayed right next to his dog and told her everything was all right.
His trick seemed to work because Lillie stayed still while the groomer brushed her. “It’s OK, it’s OK,” her dad cooed. “Good girl!” The Saint Bernard finally felt safe enough, sitting down to let the groomer do his job.
